I can't believe Thanksgiving is right around the corner. There are so many fun themes and activities for the month of November. We were very busy! If you are looking for activities to build fine motor (writing) and math and literacy skills check out our centers: Turkey and Thanksgiving Centers for November. Now available in a Growing Bundle.
One of our favorites was matching numbers to sets.
We identified numbers and fed out turkey the matching amount of "corn."
We also sorted turkey feathers by shapes.
We used links to match uppercase letters to uppercase letters in disguise.
V loved completing the Thanksgiving dinner pattern.
Finding the matching shape is way more fun with cute clothespins.
We searched pictures for turkeys and other Thanksgiving themed pictures.
We traced lots of tricky lines to help Turkey Tom find his babies.
We sorted letter beads by colors-feather would be fun as well.
We used our fine motor skills to help decorate the turkey for Thanksgiving.
Letter order is more fun with beads!
We searched for letters based on on important Thanksgiving themes!
We have been working on matching numbers to sets. We had a lot of fun roll the dice and snapping the matching number of cubes on the number.
Fancy Tail Feathers was a fun way to introduce pattern blocks. Once we build the feathers with matching blocks, we tried to figure out which blocks we could put together to make the same shape.
Two of our favorite activities was building shapes with the Geo Boards and Alphabet Magnet bingo.
These centers kept us busy for weeks! Here are a few other activities we were working on!
